Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Chenko Kurtev, trading as a sole trader (“we”, “us”, “our”), offering consultation and project management for domestic renovation projects including kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. By engaging our services, you (“Client”) agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

• Consultation & Advice – Design guidance, layout advice, budgeting insight, and general project recommendations.
• Planning & Coordination – Obtaining quotes from suppliers, advising on builders/contractors, organizing delivery and scheduling.
• Full Project Management (POA) – Overseeing the project from start to finish, coordinating all parties, monitoring progress, and providing quality checks.

2. Fees & Payments

Fees depend on the chosen service level and will be confirmed in your quotation or agreement. Full project management is priced on application (POA). Payments must follow the schedule in the invoice or proposal. Additional work outside agreed scope will be charged separately. Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, timely decisions, and property access as required.
• Engage with recommended builders or suppliers directly where applicable.
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule.
• Understand that third-party suppliers/builders operate under their own terms; we are not responsible for their performance or warranties.

4. Builders, Suppliers & Contractors

We may recommend or coordinate builders, contractors, or suppliers. Any contracts between you and third parties remain separate. We are not liable for delays, workmanship, or product quality from third parties. For full project management, we will use reasonable care in overseeing their work.

5. Changes & Delays

Any changes to the scope, specification, or timeline must be confirmed in writing. Unforeseen conditions or supplier delays may result in adjustments to schedule or cost.

6. Liability

We provide services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with UK law. Liability is limited to the total fees paid for our services. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or issues caused by third-party suppliers or contractors.

7. Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel services with written notice. Fees for work already completed or expenses incurred remain payable. We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment or breach of these Terms. Consumer cancellation rights may apply if services were arranged remotely.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We handle your personal data according to our Privacy Policy. Your data will not be shared without consent, except as legally required. Project photos may be used for portfolio or marketing purposes only with permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
